Coffee Talk Series for STEM Women

Women in Engineering (WIE) and the Women's Resource Center (WRC) are excited to host this Coffee Talk Series for undergraduate and graduate women majoring in STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).  The series will be held in the Clough Commons Lounge, located in Room 205 next to the Starbucks.

If you haven’t yet been to the Clough Lounge, it’s the perfect space for coffee talk – a room lined with interesting books and filled with tables and comfy chairs!  We’ve designed this series to give STEM women a chance to gather in an informal setting to get to know one another and to discuss topics – technical and personal – that are important to them.

These coffee talks will feature many interesting guest speakers – both female faculty members and professional women in STEM – who will be joining us to share their professional stories and their personal advice!

Each week, coffee, tea and dessert will be provided so please plan to stop by for a few moments or the entire hour.  We hope to see you for coffee talk!

The Coffee Talk Series will continue in  Spring 2014,

please check back then for an updated schedule!
