Georgia Tech senior Andrew Kosic will wrap up his collegiate swimming career with one more major accolade: the ACC’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award. Kosic is majoring in chemical and biomolecular engineering.

The ACC gives the award to the top junior or senior athlete who holds a grade point average of 3.0 or better for both their career and the previous semester.

Kosic scored NCAA points in both the 50 and 100 freestyles, and placing 5th overall in the 50. That came after an ACC Championships in which he took second in the 50 and third in the 100, plus fourth in the 100 fly.

Athletes with a 3.0 GPA or better for their career and in the fall semester are eligible for the All-ACC Academic Team, .

Kosic has been honored numerous times during his collegiate career.
