Meet Breona Jenkins, Industrial Engineer
After graduation, I am currently considering attending Graduate School to earn a Master's degree, which will help me to further specialize in my interests.
I love to dance in any circumstance, whether it be as a member of an organization, going out to a Salsa Club with friends, or simply dancing as I walk to class. Dancing does not have a direct relationship with my degree, but I believe that it is about exploring, learning, and trying something new; just like engineering.
When I'm not in class, I am involved in Spanish Speaking Organization and Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, Women in Engineering as a Student Ambassador, mentor in the M&M Mentoring Program, Peer Advisor for the Office of International Education, TEAM Buzz project coordinator, and I co-op at a Supply Chain Management Software company. One of my favorite activities on campus was being a FASET leader last summer.
Georgia Tech offers an excellent Study Abroad program that engineer's are able to participate in because of the variety of courses and programs that are tailored for the students. It is difficult to find an Engineering school that boasts that over 40% of the student body goes abroad.

I am extremely passionate about Spanish. After studying abroad on the Mexico and Spain LBAT programs, I realized that I wanted to pursue Spanish in all arenas in my life. Next year, I hope to study abroad again or work abroad in a Spanish Speaking country and am thinking of getting a second major in Spanish.
