Mr. Adewale will formally receive the award on Feb. 22, during the MSPE's annual meeting, to be held in St. Louis.

"I am tremendously honored to be recognized by MSPE and hope that it will continue to inspire students of all backgrounds to pursue engineering and continue to build a better community,” he said.

In addition to his business, which operates in 14 states, Adewale is active in several professional organizations. He is currently the vice chair of the Engineering Division of the State Board of Architects, Engineers, Land Surveyors and Landscape Architects (APELSLA), and is member of the board of National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). He has previously served on the board of the Engineers Club of Atlanta. In 2007, Adewale was awarded the Central/Midwest Region’s Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for his outstanding entrepreneurship with Professional Services.
