Dr. Gary S. May, dean of engineering, represented Georgia Tech's College of Engineering at the event. In addition, Dr. Robert T. McGrath, director of the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), students and industry presenters were also on hand to celebrate the day with Georgia House and Senate members. As part of the events at the capitol, students and industry members gave legislators demonstrations and information on engineering research and innovation.
