Tech Tower

College of Engineering Dean, Gary S. May (l) met with the Ambassador following his lecture. The lecture was part of a series of events on the GT campus in celebration of King Week. In addition to the lecture by Gasana, Georgia Tech will also host "A Day of Service." Participants will serve in teams and engage in service projects with metro Atlanta community partners. Georgia Tech faculty, staff and students will also travel to Memphis, TN, for a civil rights tour visiting the Slave Haven Underground Railroad, the Memphis Rock & Soul Museum and the national Civil Rights Museum.

"All the events for King Week are designed to promote faculty and student interaction," said May. "Each year the campus continues to expand events and bring in notable speakers who can inspire the GT community to continue King's work in social justice and social change."
