For the past 20 years, Georgia Tech's Lorraine Campus has been the foundation for relations between Atlanta and France. At the end of this month, a new program will begin in hopes to spark scientific research, business partnerships, the commercialization of new products and collaborations in the arts and humanitarian projects.
In the past four years, Georgia Tech Lorraine has spawned an active research program in conjunction with CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) in Metz resulting in new technologies in optoelectronics, the application of electronic devices that source, detect and control light.
The initiative is set to start on November 29th at an invite-only event at World of Coke and events will continue until December 12th.
