
An Environmental Engineering major sophomore, Clark Coleman, has won the 2010-2011 John M. and Connie P. Mobley Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship, presented by the Georgia Cotton Women, was established by John M. Mobley Sr. prior to his passing and is continued to be supported by his family. This scholarship is presented to a child or grandchild of a Georgia cotton farmer, based on academic performance, leadership and extracurricular activities.
Clark Coleman graduated from Colquitt County High School, with honors, and maintained a 4.0 through his years there. A member of both the swim team and the baseball team, Coleman was active in FFA and received the Blue and Gold award. He is also a member of the First Presbyterian Church, and has represented the Flint River Presbytery at the U.S General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church. Coleman has made the Dean’s List here at Georgia tech and has become active in the Westminster Christian Fellowship and his Intramural Championship racquetball team.
