
Collaborate 2011 is a workshop designed to enhance collaborative research between Georgia Tech' and GTRI's investigators. The two day event includes "Networking Poster Reception" – March 29, 2011 from 5:30pm-7:30pm and "Workshop and Research Presentations" – March 30, 2011 from 8:00am-4:30pm. It will be located the the Institute of Bioengineering and Biosciences.

The Translational Research Institute for Biomedical Engineering and Science (TRIBES) at Georgia Tech links biomedical research and educational activities at Georgia Tech with key medical institutions and organizations to provide critical capabilities for pre-commercial engineering development activities for license and transition of technology into industry for the benefit of diagnosis and treatment of patients in the healthcare system.

- Proof-of-concept and alpha prototypes.
- FDA design control documentation.
- GMP alpha and beta prototype manufacturing.
- Pre-clinical small & large animals studies.
