Chris Green, 2007 PhD graduate of Georgia Tech's School of Mechanical Engineering, was featured on the cover of Black Enterprise Magazine's April 2011 issue.  In the past, Black Enterprise has featured such figures as Venus Williams, Barack and Michelle Obama, and Oprah Winfrey. Chris was featured with his wife Lorieal and son Brandon for the above-average returns he made by investing in the "right" funds.  In the article, Chris explained how he likes emerging markets because they provide year-to-date returns and possess potential for further growth.  "I wanted to capitalize on emerging countries such as China and India," Chris said. "My wife and I looked at which economies were growing and wanted to diversify so we could get a return that would be greater that what we may get from investing in just a domestic fund."  The ME graduate has learned to look where corporations are investing and why -- comparative costs are much lower in emerging markets -- and use this information to further his own financial savvy.
