For the fourth consecutive year, Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering has been ranked no. 1 in the U.S. for Hispanic graduate students by Hispanic Business magazine.

Each year, Hispanic Business magazine measures the effectiveness of the nation’s universities in attracting Hispanic students.  In total, 40 universities were ranked based on criteria including Hispanic student enrollment, Hispanic faculty members, degrees conferred to Hispanics, and progressive programs aimed to Hispanic students.

Of Georgia Tech’s graduate students in engineering who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents, 5.5 percent are Hispanic.  In 2010,  Hispanics received 4.7 percent of the postgraduate degrees awarded by the College of Engineering.

Hispanic Magazine provides information on business, education, and current events to the Hispanic community.  The magazine has a circulation of about 265,000 and a total audience of over one million readers
