
Brooks Automation recently appointed Mark D. Morelli, alumnus of the Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering, to serve as chief operating officer and executive vice-president. Morelli most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Energy Conversion Devices, a public company that provides integrated solar based solutions.

"Adding Mark's extensive experience allows us greater focus on growth initiatives, customer satisfaction, shareholder interests and optimizing Brooks for peak performance."
Morelli holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and an MS in Management from M.I.T. Sloan School of Management.
