Currently working on a venture called Tubing Operations for Humanitarian Logistics (T.O.H.L.) that utilizes coiled tubing technology to deliver water to isolated villages during natural disasters (www.TheTOHL.com). McCoy received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Georgia Tech with a minor in Economics and has undertaken five internships, each one providing valuable experience in fields ranging from mining operations in Chile, to oil drilling in Alaska, to government relations and software development issues in Texas. Her passion for social business and innovation took root while working abroad in Chile and she has been working ever since to develop skills as an engineer and entrepreneur to pursue this area as a profession.

Enterprise to Empower is a Georgia Tech student organization that seeks to educate, enable, and engage students in social entrepreneurship, helping them discover how their skills and talents in any field -- from business to engineering -- can be applied to the social problems of the world today. More than just enabling students to start new enterprises and organizations, En2Em sees the need to equip students with the skills of leadership, creativity, and empathy for others so that they may become positive change-agents in their communities and workplaces.
