The group is also very active in outreach activities to female middle school and high school students through its work with FIRST LEGO League, the HOT Days @ Georgia Tech summer camp, and conducting school and campus tours.  Established by a group of five women in 2004, the group has grown to a membership of 316 women this past year. 

"As a faculty co-advisor for this group, I can tell you firsthand how dedicated these women are to making ECE and Georgia Tech better places to be not just for women, but for all students," said Dr. Doug Williams, ECE professor and interim school chair. "Congratulations in particular go to 2011-12 WECE President Prabha Viswanathan and her team on this terrific accomplishment."
