Dedicated to promoting engineering disciplines to students, helping expand public recognition of the engineering profession, and celebrating engineering accomplishments, Engineers Week is an annual celebration of all things engineering. This year's EWeek runs from February 17-23 and will be highlighted by a variety of events at and around Georgia Tech.

"Introduce a Girl to Engineering" EWeek event at Ivy Prep

As part of National Engineers Week’s “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day,” Women in Engineering will go to Ivy Preparatory Academy in Norcross on February 21st and talk to approximately 460 girls in sixth through 10th grades about careers in engineering, the schooling involved to be an engineer and about what it’s like to be a woman engineer. WIE staff and volunteers replace their regular science class periods with fun engineering activities designed to peak student interest in various engineering disciplines.
