The 2014 AIChE Annual Meeting is being held in Atlanta, November 16-21, 2014. The AIChE Annual Meeting is the premier educational forum for chemical engineers interested in innovation and professional growth. Academic and industry experts will cover wide range of topics relevant to cutting-edge research, new technologies, and emerging growth areas in chemical engineering.

Taking place on the campus of Georgia Tech, the 2014 ASC Chem-E-Car Competition was one of the most exciting competitions in the event’s recent history. University of Utah came in first place at 2.9 cm. The second and third place winners were Manhattan College at 75 cm and University of Toledo at 9 cm. The 2014 Best Use of Biological Reaction to Power Car went to Georgia Tech.

As part of the annual meeting, the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Tech is also hosting visits to campus for meeting attendees as well as the AIChE recruiting fair as part of the student conference.
