Representatives from Baker Hughes, one of the world’s largest oil field services providers, visited Georgia Tech during a tour of the company’s top-tier university partners. Georgia Tech is one of only 10 such partners nationwide. During the visit Talent Acquisition Manager Jenna Munoz and vice President/Chief Engineer Rustom Mody presented Gary May, Dean of Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering (CoE), with a check for $101,000 in support of several CoE programs and met with faculty and student representatives of the recipient programs and organizations. Rustom Mody also guest lectured in ChBE’s Senior Design Class during the visit.
Among the programs benefiting from Baker Hughes generosity will be CoE's Women in Engineering program, chemical engineering and mechanical engineering senior design projects, GT Motorsports, and the Mechanical Engineering Creative Decisions and Design class.
