It was a busy year for everyone in the College. Here are just a few of the staff and faculty events that our schools participated in.

Aerospace Engineering
The school that plays together stays together. Aerospace staff activities this year included a baby shower, a birthday party for a visiting professor from Germany, a retirement party, and a staff retreat that include an escape room challenge.
Biomedical Engineering
BME's events this year included a faculty retreat as well as a reception for faculty members who received tenure.
Civil and Environmental Engineering
This past summer the staff from CEE got together to lend a hand at the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
Electrical and Computer Engineering
ECE kicked off a pair of building projects (which are always a cause for celebration) and hosted lectures, awards, and other social events.
In addition to all of that, Regents Professor Tom Gaylord ran in the College of Computing 5K.
Industrial and Systems Engineering
ISyE held their annual welcome back party in August in Old Fourth Ward Park.
Mechanical Engineering
ME got into the Homecoming spirit in October and participated in the annual door decorating contest.
Materials Science and Engineering
MSE marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October by thinking pink, and held a retreat that involved an escape room.
We hope everyone had a great year in 2016 and we look forward to what's to come in 2017. Have a happy holiday season.
