Online Education

From online Master's degrees to professional education and more, we offer a number of engineering classes designed for students and practitioners alike. Classes range from non-credit to degree credit classes.

Georgia Tech’s undergraduate students now have access to a select slate of for- credit summer courses ONLINE. Offered in a variety of disciplines, these online courses are designed to give you the flexibility to experience Georgia Tech wherever you are. Students can continue their degree work while on a co-op, internship, or summer job.

We also offer graduate degrees and the convenience of online delivery, making these a compelling choice for working professionals.

We offer two types of degree programs: an online Master of Science degree (in nine fields); and the Professional Master’s Degree in Applied Systems Engineering (PMASE) – a hybrid-format degree for practicing engineers.

In addition, the Georgia Institute of Technology has signed an agreement with Coursera to put their web-based courses online and create new opportunities for hands-on learning in the classroom. Currently, there are 29 Georgia Tech courses in the Coursera catalog with a combined enrollment of 619,719 as of June 2014. These classes do not offer course credit.

Students should carefully evaluate the course offerings provided through Georgia Tech Professional Education before applying as an online student.
